Biography
Lionel Andrés Messi was born June 24, 1987, in Rosario, Argentina. He is an Argentine forward who is known for close control, dribbling, passing, finishing and creative playmaking.
Messi joined Barcelona's youth system as a child, broke into the first team, later played for Paris Saint-Germain, and moved to Inter Miami in 2023.
Why is he famous?
His career includes major club and international trophies, many individual awards and a World Cup title with Argentina in 2022. FIFA also highlights his record-setting longevity and production across a long career.
